Description: MAPIX technologies Ltd, UK was established in 1996 and provides software development and GIS application services to land & marine industries who are involved in the management or collection of geo-spatial information. Within this sector MAPIX specializes in the processing, management and display of high volume geographical datasets, where they have developed innovative methods to efficiently manage, review and display geographical data using either desktop or web based GIS. MapDocument is one of their web-based mapping applications which is a complete web-based GIS providing both asset and document management in a simple portal. The system uses the latest OGC compliant Web Map Server and Flash based client.
